⬤ 01. Strategy

Selling the last units of a premium development through a single, high-conversion event.

Taga Urbanic had a challenge that is both common and delicate in real estate: the final fractions of a premium development, 15 T3 and T4 apartments next to the River Douro in Vila Nova de Gaia, still available, with a motivated seller and a deadline. The solution was not to run a generic sales campaign. It was to engineer exclusivity. We designed the campaign around a single, time-bound event: an exclusive Open House on the 18th of January 2025, where qualified prospects could visit the Model Apartment, experience the materials and finishes first-hand, and make an informed decision in a high-intent environment. The entire digital strategy was built to funnel the right audience to that one moment.

⬤ 02. Challenge and solution

Turning digital leads into real estate buyers through a pressure-free, high-intent event format.

The challenge

Premium real estate purchases are not made online they are made in person, after trust has been established. The challenge was to use digital channels to identify and qualify prospects interested in high-end T3 and T4 apartments in the Greater Porto area, and to convert that digital interest into physical presence at the event, without the friction of a hard sales approach that would alienate the target audience.

The solution

We redesigned and rebuilt the entire store in Shopify from scratch. The consumer-facing experience is clean, fast and visually driven, product categories spanning SUP, kayak, rafting, wetsuits and accessories, with editorial photography, comparison tools and a best-sellers architecture designed to convert. The B2B layer was engineered to sit beneath the surface: volume pricing activates contextually for registered business accounts, with dedicated messaging “Your Water Sports Business Starts Here” and “Built for Volume. Ready for Your Season.” that speaks directly to trade buyers without disrupting the retail experience. The most technically sophisticated feature of the build is the automatic VAT exemption system: any European business with a valid tax exemption status sees VAT removed from their order in real time, automatically, regardless of which EU country they’re purchasing from. No manual process, no back-and-forth just a seamless, compliant checkout that makes Waterfall a genuinely competitive wholesale partner across Europe.

Beyond the technical build, we used the project to establish a coherent brand identity for Waterfall visual language, typographic system and communication tone that had previously been absent. The result is a store that doesn’t just function better. It looks and feels like a brand worth buying from.
